Squeak Carnwath: Works on Paper, an exhibition at the College of Marin 9/22 – 10/16, features pieces from the recently published Kelly’s Cove Press title Horizon On Fire, a retrospective on the Oakland-based artist. Carnwath’s works also appeared in the Kelly’s Cove title Occupy and Other Love Stories, released in 2012.
Kelly’s Cove authors Genine Lentine and Daniel Coshnear will be reading at Green Apple Books on Thursday February 6, 2014 at 7pm.

In this Sunday’s Press Democrat, Diane Peterson wrote a graceful profile of Daniel Coshnear, in which he discussed his thoughts on work and writing.
In all of his jobs — writer, teacher, caretaker — Coshnear strives for authenticity.
“I think the challenge of the mental health worker is very closely related to the challenge of the fiction writer,” he said. “To keep it — to make it — real and personal.”
